Is your supply of raw materials stable?
We understand the importance of a stable supply of raw materials for the production of high-quality wooden and bamboo tableware. Therefore, in China, we not only have logs from well-regulated forests to ensure a sustainable supply of wood, but we also have an extensive bamboo forest of 10,000 hectares. This bamboo forest is an integral part of our production and ensures that we can use mature bamboo over 5 years old for our tableware.
Bamboo that is more than 5 years old is chosen as a raw material because it has the necessary toughness and texture to produce tableware that is both durable and naturally beautiful. In addition, mature bamboos excel in terms of environmental friendliness and sustainability, as they are fast-growing and renewable. To further enhance the quality and sustainability of our raw materials, we also work with local communities to implement forest conservation projects and eco-friendly forestry management practices. This includes regular vegetation management and restoration programmes, as well as conservation measures to promote biodiversity.
We also carry out forest certification to ensure that all logs sourced meet internationally recognized sustainable forestry standards, such as FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification. This not only helps to conserve natural resources, but also enhances the competitiveness of our products in the international market. Through these initiatives, we are able to ensure that every aspect of the process, from the source to the final product, is responsible and sustainable.
